Homemade Granola Cereal Bowls w/ Almond Milk

Love granola but hate the price tag at the store? My solution to cut costs is to make my own granola. It tastes so much better, and it has zero preservatives! Pair your fresh, homemade granola with some almond milk and you've got yourself a tasty breakfast in no time!

Yield: 2 Servings

Cook Time: 40 Min

- ¼ Cup Coconut Oil

- 1.5 Cups Rolled Oats

- ½ Cup Sliced Almonds

- ¼ Cup Agave

- ¼ tsp Cinnamon

- 1/8 cup Coconut Sugar

- ¼ tsp Sea Salt

- *Optional: Dried fruits; raisins, craisins, strawberries, bananas, or fresh fruits.

1. Preheat oven to 300F. In a large bowl, whisk together coconut oil, cinnamon, sea salt, coconut sugar, and agave.

2. Add oats and almonds to agave mixture. Stir and coat granola evenly.

3. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet or silpat. Bake for five minutes and stir.

4. Bake for an additional five minutes and remove from oven. Add dried fruits if desired. Let cool.

5. Serve with fresh fruit and almond milk, enjoy!

- You can substitute the agave for honey or maple syrup.

- You can also substitute the coconut sugar for brown sugar.
