Simply Cheesy Mac N Cheese Skillet Bake

Again, I love cheese! This skillet bake is super simple, yet tasty to make. Once you put it in the oven you don't have to worry about it again until the timer goes off! Enjoy this dish as a delicious and quick dinner or lunch.

Simply Cheesy Mac N Cheese Skillet Bake Recipe:

Yield: 4 Servings

Cook Time: 45 Min

Ingredients:

- 2 ¼ Cups Pasta (8oz)

- ½ Tbsp Olive Oil

- 3 Tbsp Butter

- 3 Tbsp Flour

- 1 ½ Cup Milk

- 1 Cup Cream

- 2 Cups Colby Jack, Shredded

- 1 Cup White Cheddar, Shredded

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease skillet w/ cooking spray. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

2. Drain and toss pasta with olive oil. Set aside.

3. In a medium skillet, heat butter and melt. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in milk and cream and heat for 5 minutes.

4. Add Colby Jack and white cheddar and season with salt and pepper.

5. Once melted, add to pasta and stir to combine. Pour mixture into skillet and top with parmesan and smoked paprika. Bake for 30 minutes.

6. Melt butter in a small skillet, add breadcrumbs and toast until browned. Once mac n cheese is finished, top w/ breadcrumbs and extra cheese.

Tips/Tricks:

- Half-way through cooking, stir mac n cheese to make sure the top part does not dry out.

- Add fresh herbs like green onions or parsley to garnish.
