Updated: Sep 26, 2020

I love smoothie bowls! They're easy to take with you on-the-go and they're a great way to get some fruits and/or veggies into your diet! This recipe is super easy and simple, I hope you enjoy! :)

Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl Recipe:

Yield: 2 Servings

Cook Time: 10 Min

Ingredients:

- 2 Cups Frozen Strawberries

- 1 Fresh Banana

- ½ Cup Almond or Oat Milk

- 1 ½ tsp Agave or Honey

- ½ Cup Greek Yogurt or Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative

- Optional Toppings:

o Popped Quinoa

o Shredded Coconut

o Fresh Berries

o Sliced Bananas

o Sliced or Chopped Nuts

Directions:

1. Place frozen strawberries and banana in a blender.

2. Next, add almond or oat milk, agave or honey, and choice of yogurt.

3. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes or until smooth.

4. If the smoothie is too thin, add 2-3 ice cubes and blend again for 1 minute.

5. If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk tbsp by tbsp and blend until desired thickness is achieved.

6. Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with desired toppings, enjoy!

Tips/Tricks:

- If you want your smoothie to stay colder longer, freeze a peeled banana a few hours or overnight before making your smoothie.

- To make popped quinoa, heat a small skillet over high heat; add desired quinoa amount and toast quinoa until it begins to pop or jump.
